Values
& purpose

You will not find here empty slogans or words without the cover.
The values behind this project are expressed through action.

They are deeply embedded in the name itself,
a name that points the way and carries its purpose.

New wave of hacking culture

Just as Aleister Crowley drew a line between magic and magick, separating cheap tricks and stage illusions from something intended to create real transformation through will and intention, hakking draws a similar line between hacking and hakking.

Not because hacking needs to be reinvented, but because somewhere along the way, much of what made its culture meaningfull started getting lost.

Hacking culture is beautiful at its core: free knowledge, open code, experimentation, curiosity and a certain refusal to accept that everything has to be owned, monetised and optimised.

Hackerspaces historically begin as a places where people could come together, build things, break them and share what they discovered.

As technology became increasingly shaped by the logic of profit, growth and control, that culture gradually became harder to recognise.

Those writing free code and opening knowledge were placed alongside those breaking into systems to cause damage, while many hackerspaces slowly turned into coworking spaces where the energy of experimentation was replaced by productivity, networking and the occasional overpriced coffee.

The ecological, social and even spiritual questions surrounding what happens inside a hackerspaces were often treated as someone else's problem, while speed and scale became the dominant measures of progress.

With respect for the heritage and origin of the culture, hakking keeps what was good in that original spirit: the curiosity, the refusal to let everything be owned and optimised and gives the overlooked aspects a seat at the table, right at the center of the process, not as an afterthought.

The difference is groundedness.

Technology may live in code, data and the cloud, but none of those things exist without materials, energy, bodies, ecosystems and communities. Every server has a physical world behind it, every algorithm eventually reaches someone's life and every new piece of technology becomes part of the environment in which other entities and beings also have a right to live dignified life.

Becoming a hakker means creating technology while remaining conscious of where it comes from, what it consumes, what it changes and what kind of world it helps create.

It means leaving enough space for things that do not fit into a spreadsheet, including intuition, interconnectedness, the living world and the kind of questions most people avoid, because facing them means actually taking responsibility of dealing with them.

Hakking brings a critical eye, sensitivity and a spiritual dimension back into the process of building technology.
Not as an escape from reality but as a deeper way of being in it

land

In collaboration with the Spirits of nature

Grounded in its natural context

Hakker Land is not simply a space to walk into and spend time in.

Coming here is an intentional journey, a conscious decision to connect, listen and open yourself to the Spirits of nature.

By being here, you become part of her.
She nourishes, holds and creates space for creative expression.

For centuries, humanity has approached land through a logic of claiming and taking: choosing a place, deciding what it should become and imposing a vision upon it.

The decision to settle here came through shamanic mediations. Through listening, connecting, building trust and asking for permission. Whatever is built here will grow from this connection: with respect for the Mountian's needs and with the intention of interfering her as little as possible.

This land is not something to build upon, but something to build with

medžuslovjanski

Post-geographic by design

A linguistic phenomenon

Medžuslovjanski is a language built around connection.

It allows people from different Slavic countries, with different languages, histories and identities, to understand one another through a shared linguistic ground.

Medžuslovjanski offers a different starting point: a common linguistic ground from which people can meet, exchange ideas and see what becomes possible when differences are not treated as the first obstacle to overcome.

Hakker Land's cultural context is distinctly Slavic and there is no need to pretend otherwise. It is rooted somewhere specific, with a specific landscape, history, language and cultural memory. But being rooted somewhere does not have to mean closing the door to everyone else's world.

The idea is not to create a new cultural bubble, but to experiment with what can happen when people begin with what they already understand and use that as a foundation for cooperation across everything that comes next.

Language does more than help us communicate, it shapes the way we think, perceive and create. Most of today's technology and science has been shaped through English, which has become not only a powerful vehicle for communication, but also for cultural influence and the worldview that comes with it.

When one language becomes the default, it can quietly shape what we notice, how we describe the world and even what we imagine to be possible. When one language colonises the way we think, it doesn't just translate the world, it limits it.

Choosing Medžuslovjanski as the default language at Hakker Land means reconnecting to the same current that produced Tesla, Skłodowska-Curie and Mendeleev and testing what this can define when it starts from connection, not from flattening your accent until your cultural heritage disappears with it.

Medžuslovjanski is built not around where we come from but around what becomes possible when we start looking for what keep us connected

tehnologičny huб

A forge for a new civilization

Building technology from a higher level of consciousness

Higher state of consciousness means integrating needs beyond just our own into the process of creation. This kind of process carries the intention to strengthen human potential, with its decisions steered from the a place of courage instead of fear, the same courage it takes to actually live life fully.

It doesn't have to either wait for the old one to collapse. It can start exactly here, with new foundations, built patiently enough that they eventually replace what came before, and let us live by entirely different rules.

Part of that means unplugging our minds from the toxic beliefs passed down through generations: the idea that suffering is the only way to progress and that life is something to endure rather than actually enjoy.

And this is where Hakker Land's purpose reveals itself as a place where new tools, knowledge and ways of living are built, tested, shared and passed on.

Where cyber shamanism opens space for collaboration across species and technology grows in the spirit of compost engineering, rising from the ashes of what the old civilization left behind and what we had to let go of.

Where permacomputing lets new solutions take shape, letting the natural and the technical merge into one and where people move as independent units in the spirit of polycentric intelligence, because wherever intelligence stays polycentric, power finds no ground to stand on.

So let's get our hands dirty, because this is the revolution we'll build from scratch by ourselves
